There was a recent viral video of Neha Kakkar where the singer is seen crying on stage, begging for forgiveness for being late to her concert in Melbourne. The tardiness made the audience furious, with some booing and making sarcastic comments, like likening the incident to a reality show. Her fans blamed her for not respecting their time, and soon there was an outburst on social media. In a recent social media update, the singer accused the organisers of the entire debacle.
Neha Kakkar responded by posting on Instagram, blaming the event organizers for the delay. She posted that she had performed in Melbourne for free since the organizers had fled without paying her and others who had worked on the event. Her band was left without the most basic things such as food, water, and hotel stays, and her husband and his team had to intervene and feed them.
The situation was made worse by the sound vendor who declined to continue with the setup because of non-payment, leading to further delays. Her sound check was thus delayed for hours, and she was left wondering if the concert would even happen. In spite of the mayhem, she and her crew went ahead with the performance, aware that fans had waited for hours.
She teased that there was more to it, but was satisfied that this much was revealed at this time. She reported that her husband Rohanpreet Singh and his team assisted her in this case.
Neha Kakkar thanked those who had come to her defense, accepting their support as if they had gone through the ordeal themselves. She was deeply thankful for their efforts in explaining the situation and thanked the audience members who had supported her, shared her feelings, and had enjoyed the concert despite the issues. She also gave heartfelt thanks to her devoted fans, "NeHearts," for always coming to her defense and loving her unconditionally.
Tony Kakkar spoke about his disappointment with what happened to Neha Kakkar, while Sugandha Mishra complimented her strength of character, calling her a professional artist who had shown that the show must go on.Vishal Dadlani posted that he had experienced the same thing in Boston years back, learning a hard lesson. He remembered telling the crowd that local organizers had cheated both them and the artists. Coming out in support of Neha Kakkar, he was happy she spoke her mind, pointing out how artists are usually blamed unfairly for such mayhem. One commented that individuals are quick to judge without understanding the whole picture, pointing out the sad state of the world today.
